ctn (Organizer)
is a compact utility, which combines important functions in one app, when it comes to organizing your life:


- Calendar (Schedule in Daily, Weekly and Monthly View)
- Tasks
- Notes
- Location-based notifications

... and ctn is now an Universal App. You can use it on iPhone/iPod or on the big screen with an iPad.

Calendar:
Have an overview of all your events and tasks. Tap on the navigation bar and you can select if you prefer to have a daily view, the whole week or the complete month. Double tap on the navigation bar and get a monthly overview, which also shows how many events/tasks happen on every day. Selecting a day brings you directly to that day. Tapping on the month title brings you back to the overview.
When adding a new event you have a slightly more enhanced way to add alarms or repeats to an event. You can enter a location manually or select from a list you defined earlier. When selecting from this list, your event becomes location-aware.

* ctn accesses the built-in calendar of iOS, so no matter with which service you sync your events, they show up in ctn.
(There is currently no API to import the reminders from the built-in Reminders App)


Tasks:
Organize your tasks into folders and subfolders. Schedule tasks and folders with a due date and alarms. Add a location to make this task or folder location-aware. Inside a folder the title shows the percentage how much of your tasks are done. If a folder is empty you can also define it as a shopping list. Tasks in this folder will be added as shopping items and the title will show the value of your shopping list.

On every page you can "fast add" a task by swiping over the navigation bar. If you are already in the task area and inside a folder, the new task will be added to this folder, otherwise it gets added to the Inbox.


Notes:
Write your notes in portrait or landscape mode and when finished you can share them per eMail, or print them on an AirPint-enabled printer.
You can also convert a note into a task, The note title will become a new folder and every line corresponds to a task inside that folder.


Locations:
In the locations folder you can add new locations. Add your current location, or tap on the navigation bar to pop up a search field and add an address from the addressbook, or enter the address manually. Use these locations when adding or editing events, tasks and folders and they become
location-aware.


Dropbox Sync:
Link ctn to your Dropbox account and start syncing your task database to your Dropbox account. Link on your other devices, too and you can share your tasks between multiple devices. Sync happens on app launch or when the app goes to the background or sync your database manually when in the task overview by pull to sync.



* No special signups required.
* Notifications are built upon Local Notifications, so there is no need for internet connectivity.
** Certainly, when syncing with Dropbox a Dropbox account and an internet connection is required.
